Stains ruin the beauty of carpet and if not fixed immediately then they can set in and be a black cloud over your favorite rooms. There are a bunch of great tips on the internet to test it for yourself and see what works. I have spent endless hours experimenting and countless dollars on solutions that required to much of my time and far too much effort to get the stains out. While researching all possibilities I\u2019ve noticed a lot of advice on which method to use on different types of fibers. Each contained different solutions for different fibers and that seemed like too much work.<\/p>\n

Then the impossible happened I found something that works and is inexpensive, most of us have these items in our household for everyday use.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
1. A steam iron filled up with water like you normally would (one that you iron your shirts with)<\/p>\n
2. A white damp cloth (can be an extra rag or towel you\u2019re not using)<\/p>\n
3. Clear Windex (some people use part water part peroxide, ammonia or vinegar)<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t use the blue Windex (we don’t need extra stains on light carpet)<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
To begin simply take your clear Windex and spray your stain, I personally let it sink in for a moment.<\/p>\n
Then taking your damp cloth or extra rag place it over the stain and blot the area<\/p>\n
I actually fold my cloth a couple of time so when I’m ironing the stain I can transition to each fold<\/p>\n
When starting to iron don’t press to hard you don’t want to scorch or damage your carpet<\/p>\n
Just lightly iron over your top layer, when you see the stain pulling out of the carpet fold that over to expose new piece of cloth and repeat till the rag is completely used.<\/p>\n
You\u2019re carpets will come out stain free and beautiful.<\/p>\n
